Hala Amer

Hala Amer is the founder of the Muslim Mom Network, an online group which provides advice and support to mothers across the country. She has recently initiated Project MPOWER, which focuses on the support of existing charitable organizations.  She received her BS in Information Systems at Rutgers University and a MBA in Technology Management from NJIT. After years of working as a business analyst, she now home schools her 3 boys and donates her time to various local organizations including WAFA House, MYCC, SMILE, and PCRF. She is an avid reader, tea-drinker, foodie, and occasional writer for Grow Mama Grow and other sites.
