Revealed in the latter stages of the Prophet's mission, Surah al-Hujarat offers a concise overview of many of the essential characteristics of both individual believers and the community as a whole. From emphasizing the manners a true believer must have towards Allah and His Messenger, to outlining the moral values integral to social harmony, it establishes the foundation on which the ummah must be based upon. Today, where we find ourselves increasingly distant from the spiritual anchors of our deen and plagued by conflict, Surah al-Hujurat focuses on the principles we need to cherish in order to solve our current problems and be in the company of the Beloved.
